Twisted Cables Hat

This hat is all about the cables which I love using in my designs. It features a striking twisted cables pattern which creates a beautifully snug fitting hat finished off with a traditional pom pom. The pattern is knit in the round and uses Shades of Weardale Luxury 4Ply available from The Knitting Gift Shop.

Requires : 1 x 100g Merino Silk 4ply Yarn(Yardage - 400m/430y), 1 x 3.25mm(UK10 -USA 3) 40cm circular knitting needle, stitch marker

Size when finished : To fit average ladies head (approx 48cm(19in) x 20cm(8in) without stretch

Difficulty : Intermediate - knowledge of basic/cable stitches(K, P, C4B, C4F), simple shaping and knitting in the round
