Aurelia Shoulder Wrap

It had been a while since I designed a larger sized wrap and so leaning into my love of cables I came up with the Aurelia Shoulder Wrap. It is a generous size (66in x 13in) bias rectangular shape with a striking cable design running throughout. It uses a double knitting yarn in both semi solid and variegated and is designed in a way to fade from one to the other along the length of the wrap.

The yarn I used is Shades of Weardale Merino DK by The Knitting Gift Shop.

Requires: 2 x 100g skeins Merino Double Knitting (yardage 240m/260yds per 100g) , 1 pair of 5.00mm (UK6 - US8) knitting needles, cable needle

Size when finished: Length 146cm x Width 42cm (59in x 17in) approx

Difficulty -  Intermediate - knowledge of basic/cable stitches, simple increase/decrease, colourwork
