Linen & Lace Shawl

My Linen and Lace Shawl design uses a half linen stitch with repeating lace panels resulting in a good sized triangular Shawl. The pattern is made using two shades of yarn, one solid colour and one variegated which adds a beautiful texture to this classic shawl. The yarn used is Shades of Weardale Luxury 4ply available from The Knitting Gift Shop.

Requires 

1 x 100g skein Merino/Silk 4ply in plain colour (yardage400m/430y)

1 x 50g variegated colour (yardage200m/215y) 

1 pair of 3.75mm (UK9 - USA5) knitting needles, 

Size When Blocked: 158cm x 149cm x 60cm(62in x 58.5 x 24in) approx

Difficulty - Intermediate - repetitive pattern with Basic increasing, Half linen Stitch/LaceStitches/Colourwork,

Can be knit on straight needles
