Half Finger Cable Gloves

This pretty half finger glove knitting pattern is one of the most enduring and popular glove patterns that I have designed, it features a false cable stitch in both the rib and the main body of the glove. The pattern is knit in the round with thumb gusset and individual fingers.The yarn used is Shades of Weardale Merino 4ply available from The Knitting Gift Shop.

Requires : 2 x 25g Shades of Weardale Merino 4ply (yardage 25g -115m/125y)

and 1 set of 3.25mm (UK10- USA3) double pointed needles, 3 x stitch markers

Size when finished : Length 23cm x 18cm around the hand (9 x 7in) approx on 3.25mm DPN’S (to fit average ladies hand) For a looser fit use 3.50mm ( UK9 - USA4) - approx 19cm (7 1/2in) around the hand
