Cable Design Handwarmers

Designed alongside my Cable Design Hat these hand warmers use the same neat cable pattern. The design is knit in the round with a thumb gusset and extra length added at the wrist for extra warmth. The yarn used is Shades of Weardale Merino 4ply available from The Knitting Gift Shop.

Requires: 2 x 25g Shades of Weardale Merino 4ply (yardage 25g -115m/125y), 1 set of 3.00mm (UK11) DPNs, 3 x Stitch Markers

Size When Finished - Length 24cm x 18cm around the hand (9.5in x 7in) approx - For a looser fit use 3.25mm(UK10 - US3)

Difficulty - Intermediate - knitting in the round/ knowledge of basic /false cable stitches (T2R, T2L), thumb gusset shaping
